Infinix Smart 5 Launched With A Triple Camera Feature

Infinix Smart 5 has been launched globally along with a slightly different 3G variant for Nigeria. This new device packs a triple camera setup on the back, placed within a rectangular module along with the flash.

The global camera setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with two QVGA sensors. In front, the Infinix Smart 5 comes with an 8-megapixel sensor. The Nigerian variant comes with an 8-megapixel primary camera and a QVGA sensor on the back. The selfie camera is the same as the global variant.

Also, the phone comes with a large display with relatively slim bezels on the side and a thick chin. The selfie camera is located in a small notch at the front and Infinix says the product has an excellent battery life span, able to last for four days of normal use.

However, the device was listed in a single 3 GB + 64 GB capacity version without a price on the global website. Notably, the Infinix Smart 5 3G variant is listed on the company’s Nigerian website with a 2GB + 32GB storage variant, priced at NGN 39,500 with three colour options for the device; Ice Blue, Midnight Black, and Quetzal Cyan.

In addition, the dual-SIM (Nano) Infinix Smart 5 runs on Android 10 with XOS 6 on top. It sports an IPS screen of 6.6 inches and 720×1,600 pixels. Under the hood, the phone launched with an unspecified 1.8GHz processor.

The Smart 5 arrives with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. There’s an ambient light camera, proximity sensor on the phone, a fingerprint scanner and other vibrant specs.
